ECOBOOST V6-2.7L/3.5L (tt)The aFe POWER BladeRunner 2015 F-150 EcoBoost Intercooler Upgrade features a bar and plate core that is pressure tested to over 100PSI. We redesigned the hot side inlet with a machined billet aluminum proprietary elongated single inlet for smooth, more efficient airflow into the intercooler.This results in better air distribution within the intercooler reducing restriction and turbulence for more laminar airflow. The cold side outlet has also been repositioned for better flow. A breather vent allows for condensation draining or oil build up from blow-by deposits.The EcoBoost intercooler tubes are made of mandrel-bent aluminum, are a larger diameter and creates cooler charge air temperatures by reducing restrictions in the intercooler system. aFe intercooler tubes will fit the OE intercooler, but really works best with the complete BladeRunner F-150 Intercooler complete system for maximum performance and longevity over the factory plastic setup.
