99-04 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE V8-4.7LThis Stage-2 cold air intake system produces 22 horsepower, 40 lbs. x ft. torque for the Jeep Grand Cherokee (WJ) 1999-2004. This system includes a durable 18-gauge, powder-coated heat shield and features a washable reusable conical Pro DRY S air filter for maximum flow. This air filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane, for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. This intake system also features a heat-insulating roto-molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. This is a direct bolt-on kit and requires no cutting or drilling on OEM parts.One-Piece Intake Tube:A large mandrel-bent wrinkle-black powder-coated intake tube is used to smoothly direct the increased air flow into the engine for maximum performance.4" 360 Degree Radial Flow Conical Filter: This intake utilizes a, 4" Pro DRY S performance air filter for maximum flow. This 3-layer progressive, non-oiled cotton gauze air filter provides maximum flow for increased horsepower and torque. Also constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.One-Piece Filter Housing:The air filter is housed in a one-piece, black powder-coated 18-gauge heat shield that keeps warm engine air out for maximum performance. This one-piece heat shield uses factory mounting locations and comes with all hardware for a hassle-free installation.Hassle-Free Installation:aFe has developed this intake to provide a hassle-free installation that utilizes all factory mounting locations.Power, Protection and Simplicity.This intake is 50-state legal (CARB E.O Number D-550-3/14).
