94-02 DODGE DIESEL TRUCK L6-5.9L (td)This package combines the Pro-GUARD 7 Stage 2 Sealed intake system with a Heater Grid Delete Spacer. Fully enclosed in a heat-shielding molded plastic housing; this air intake system features a washable/reusable conical air filter that improves airflow for increased horsepower and torque. The housing features an auxiliary inlet duct for better airflow as well as an attractive brushed aluminum cover that provides ready access to the filter for servicing. This intake system also features a heat-insulating molded plastic tube that replaces the stock intake tract and directs increased air flow with improved volumetric efficiency for maximum performance. The filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. This intake system is 50-state legal (CARB E.O Number D-550-4).The heater grid spacer replaces the restrictive factory electric heater and improves the air flow to the intake manifold for increased boost, performance and improved throttle response. This grid delete spacer is designed to make it easy to re-install the factory unit during extreme cold weather for easy start-up.Sealed Air Box Design: A unique rotomolded sealed air box design keeps hot engine air out for maximum performance in all weather situations.Rotomolded Tube & Air Box: A rotomolded intake tube and housing are engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T.).Heavy Duty Construction:This heater gird spacer is constructed of hard coat black anodized 6061-T6 machined billet aluminum for superior protection and a great under hood look.Multiple Auxiliary Ports: Four tapped 1/8" NPT ports are supplied for easy installation of gauges, water injection or nitrous oxide systems.Improved Performance: By eliminating the restrictive heating elements in the intake manifold, the spacer produces increased air flow for increased boost , improved throttle response and lower EGT’s.*Most of the images provided are for illustration purposes
