Handling filter duties is the patented Pro-GUARD 7 performance air filter that features 5-layers of progressive cotton gauze and 2-layers of synthetic media. The Pro-GUARD 7 filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane and expanded metal for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T). Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle free installation.High-Temp Silicone Coupling: This coupling is designed to meet modern elevated engine compartment temperatures with a 4-ply silicone reinforced configuration.Durable Heat Shield: A one-piece powder-coated heat-shield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense.4" 360 Degree Air Filter: A cone 360 degree round air filter is used for maximum air flow and filtration (99.7% efficient).
